this is my guitar. her name is la esperanza y el sueno (spanish for hope and dream). i call her esperanza for short. we have been spending a lot of time together. my fingers are sore and callused. i am happy.
Ahhh! :) There's something very intimate between a guitar and it's owner when they interact on a regular basis! :) When I was college age, I used to spend hours playing my guitar in my room and composing songs! :) Those were wonderful days! :) Now my stringed friend quietly rest in it's case, and the case collects dust while I go about my busy days with other loves! :) Some years back I did put brand new strings on her, played until my fingertips started to sting (steel strings), and put my friend back in the case again! :) I'm thrilled for you! It sounds like your friendship with your guitar is in earnest and there is much joy in that relationship! :) I hope to hear you perform some time! :)
